You can enjoy nature and the many sights on long walks. Attractions nearby are for example the Maare-Mosel cycling path, the Wild-Erlebnispark Daun, the Maarmuseum Manderscheid, fortress Manderscheid, and the Vulkanhaus Strohn. The Moselle (ca. 25 km), the Nürburgring (30 km) and Trier (the oldest city in Germany, 55 km) are also worth a visit.
